Is your website responsive? Responsive websites are designed so that the text, photos, buttons, etc. can change position or size depending on the screen size.

The easiest way to test if your website is using responsive design is to open your site using a browser like Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Position your mouse on the bottom right corner of the browser window then drag to resize the window. If your site is responsive it will rearrange the information on the screen to fit the new screen size. If the page becomes unreadable or information is overlapping on the screen then your site is most likely not responsive.
Try it out on your devices
Since almost everyone has a smartphone these days, try it on your phone or tablet. Enter your URL in the browser. Don’t forget to re-orient your phone and view the site with your phone positioned vertically and horizontally. Again, if your site is responsive it will rearrange the information on the screen to fit the new screen size. If the page becomes unreadable or information is overlapping on the screen then your site is most likely not responsive.

Enter https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights in your browser. Enter your URL in the field provided and click Analyze. The Google tool will tell you how mobile friendly your website.
Try an Emulator.
The best way to test your website is to test it on every device. However, this becomes impractical given the huge number of devices out there. So the next best thing is to emulate the various browsers. There are several services that provide this capability.
